Use case · For hands-free and RSI

Write without reaching for the keyboard

Voice activation, click instead of hover, gentler motion, and breaks that remind you.

Three ways to start dictation

Hold a key, tap it to lock, or go hands-free with voice-activity detection — speech above a threshold starts, a pause ends and inserts. Choose what your hands can do today.

Open it your way

Hover-dwell is the default, but click mode exists, and the open and close delays are tunable. A welcome tour walks the choices on first launch.

The kind machine

Reduced-motion support is a shipped commitment, not a checkbox. Break, water, and mindful rings with 20-20-20 eye-break nudges look after the person operating the Mac.

Fair questions

Does dictation work in every app?
It inserts by paste into whatever is frontmost — including Chrome and Electron apps — and ⌘Z undoes it.
What does hands-free mode need?
The microphone only. Voice activity detection runs inside the same local audio tap, with no wake word to memorize.
