Local-first, and it hides on cue
No account, no telemetry, keys that never leave the Mac — and it vanishes from your screen share.
Everything stays on the machine
Settings, notes, clipboard history, habits — all under your own Application Support directory. Integration credentials stay in local storage. The app makes no requests to this website except when you activate a license.
No account, ever
Buying and activating never require signing up; the license key is the whole relationship. There is no usage telemetry — the license server validates a key; it does not surveil.
Hides from screenshots and screen sharing
Capture hiding is verified: window capture fails while it is on. Your takings and your clipboard do not appear in the meeting you are sharing.

Fair questions
- How do I know there is no telemetry?
- The app is the only thing making requests, from your Mac, to the services you connected yourself. There is no notchos analytics endpoint to phone.
- What does the website know about me?
- Your purchase email, your license key, and which Macs activated it — the minimum a license needs. That is the entire privacy policy.
